CHICAGO — David Lee Brown died Saturday, April 26, 2014 near Chicago. He was 68.

Mr. Brown was born in Clinton and attended Rosa A. Temple High School, where he was a drummer in the school band.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Brown; two sisters, Rosa Lee Brown and Annie Mae Brown Lane; four brothers, Nathaniel Brown, William Brown, Walter Brown and Willie Brown; and a grandson, Troy Hill.

Survivors include his wife, Addie Mae Brown; two daughters, Renee Hill and Shannon Brown; two sons, Dennis Brown and David L. Brown; a sister, Christine Townsend; three brothers, Charles Brown, Robert Greer and Lawrence Greer; four granddaughters, four grandsons, a goddaughter; and numerous of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services are 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Gatling’s Chapel, 1200 E. 162^nd St., South Holland, IL. Visitation is 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. until the time of service.
