Funeral services for Mary Louise Sanders-Young are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home, with the Rev. R.D. Bernerd officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel.

Mary Louise Sanders-Young died Monday, April 28, 2014 at her residence following an illness. She was 90.

She was a retired beautician and member of King Solomon Baptist Church, where she was in the Senior Choir and taught Sunday School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Cynthia Phillips Sanders Sr.; five brothers and four sisters; and her husband, Bennie Young.

Survivors include a son, Frank Reed, of Clinton; two daughters, Marsha Brown and Lorraine Davenport, both of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
