Willis Lamar “Red” Deason Jr. died Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was 57.

Mr. Deason was born Sept. 16, 1956, in Vicksburg to Willis Lamar Sr. and Bonnie Bell.

Survivors include his companion for 17 years, Stephanie Brown and her children, Matthew and Michael Brown; his daughters, Shea and Sarah; sisters Rita and Donna; brothers Calvin and James; five grandchildren; and friends.

A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Oak Ridge Community Center.
