Clarence A Winters Jr. died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center.  He was 56.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph S. Price and H. C. Walker, and Laura Freeman Walker, and his paternal grandparents, Henry Winter Sr. and Gertrude Winters Johnson.

Survivors include his father, Clarence Anthony Winters Sr. of Portland, Ore.: mother, Janice Winters of Vicksburg; three brothers Curtis Winters , Carl Winters, and the Rev. Kevin Winters, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Karen K. Winters of Vicksburg, Shelby Winters of  Portland, Ore., and Cheryl Winters of Atlanta; and grandmother, Ida Price of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Cool Springs M. B. Church with the Rev. Kevin Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
