PORT GIBSON — Louise V. Wilson-Berry died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 77.

Mrs. Berry was a member and mother at Forest Grove Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Irene Gibson-Wilson; her husband, Clyde Berry Sr.; four brothers, Dan Wilson, the Rev. Willie Wilson, Robert Wilson and Henry Wilson; and three sisters, Sarah Reed, Irene Moore and Winnie Richardson; and a son-in-law, Arthur Brandon Sr.

Survivors include five sons, Clyde Berry Jr., Dennis Berry, Darris Berry, Charles Storks and Ricky Stewart, all of Port Gibson; grandson, Silento Berry of Hampstead, N.Y.; three daughters, Mary Alice Berry and Irma Dell Brandon, both of Port Gibson, and Mamie Moore of Vicksburg; a brother, Nathan Wilson of Lorman; three sisters, Aretha Davis of Lorman, Ollie Shorter and Eddie Lee Smith, all of Port Gibson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Forest Grove Christian Church in Pattison with the Rev. Columbus Felton officiating. The Rev. Johnny Hughes will do the eulogy. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Sunday at the church from 1p.m. until the service.
