Arthur Henry “Lil Bro, Fat” Jackson died Sunday, May 25, 2014. He was 58.

He was born in Hollandale on April 21, 1956, to the late William Jackson and the late Helen Ford Jackson.

He was a member of King David Missionary Baptist Church No. 1, and worked at Magnolia Trailer before going to Cooper Lighting, where he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jackson; six sons, Arthur Jackson Jr., Jarvis Jackson and Anthony Jackson, all of Fayette, Justin Jackson of Houston, Texas, and Tobias Jackson and Markeem’ Bright, both of Vicksburg; a daughter, April Smith of Vicksburg; five sisters, Marie Wyatte, Eurlene Jackson, Helen Huston, Mary Garrett and Ethel Johnson all of Fayette; two brothers, Howard Jackson of Vicksburg and Aaron Jackson of Fayette; and two goddaughters, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at King David Missionary Baptist Church No. 1. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.
