ROLLING FORK — Barbara Holcomb Boyd, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Franklin, Tenn.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Grace United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Jeff Taylor, with burial following at Greenfield Cemetery in Glen Allan.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Ms. Boyd, a registered nurse, was born on March 31, 1953, in Rolling Fork.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.E. Holcomb Jr., and her son, Christopher Keith Boyd.

Survivors include her mother, Jewel Newton of Grace; her daughters, Leighane Boyd Hemphill of Franklin, Tenn., and Terri Jennifer (T.J.) Boyd Briskin of Broken Arrow, Okla.; brothers, Scott Chick and Eddie Holcomb of Rolling Fork, and Neal Holcomb of Glen Allan; sisters, Frances Edwards of Laurel, Dorothy Costner of Drasco, Ark., Donna McGuffin of Dublin, Texas, Terri Taylor of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Sharon Chick and Tracy Brown of Rolling Fork; and four grandchildren, Morgan Boyd, Zoe and Noah Hemphil, and Emma Briskin.

Pallbearers are Travis Matthews, Tyler Matthews, Eddie Holcomb, Neal Holcomb, Scott Chick, Trey Hemphill, and Alex Briskin.
