Dorothy Ann Wright of Albion, Mich., and formerly of Vicksburg died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Spectrum Health Center in Grand Rapids, Mich. She was 80

Born in 1934 in Vicksburg to Thomas and Cleo Ferguson Paulding she retired as a cook for Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Albion College

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Thelma Russell.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Fred Wright; a daughter Patricia Johnson; a sister, Irene Maxey of Vicksburg; a grandson, Bobby Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and others, including Juanita Stewart of Vicksburg,

Funeral services were held at noon Friday, May 9, 2014, at Bethel Baptist Church in Albion with the Rev. F.H. Alexander Jr. officiating and J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home of Albion in charge.
