Charles Piazza OBIT-WEBA Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Louis Piazza Sr., 87, will be celebrated at St. Paul Catholic Church Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be Friday at Riles Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30.

Charles Louis died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, with his family at his side.

Mr. Piazza was a master plumber who owned and operated Piazza Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning in Vicksburg from 1950 until he retired in 1990. Charles Louis was a United States Navy veteran, and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, serving his church and community for 69 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce B. Piazza; sons, Charles L. Piazza Jr. and wife Vina, John F. Piazza Sr. and wife Beverly, and Donald A. Piazza and wife Norma; daughters, Rosemary Diane Ludwig and husband John, and Peggy Reich and husband Jeff; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Piazza was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Anna Piazza; his brother, Julius A Piazza Jr. and sister-in-law Mary Ann; and his sister, Frances Marie Roboski and brother-in-law Bill.
