PATTISON — Leo Jackson of Hermanville died Monday, June 23, 2014, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 59.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Brown, and a brother, Terry Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Jackson of Hermanville; two daughters, Melissa Banks-Chambers of Vicksburg and Kashan Evans of Hermanville; mother, Edith Jackson-Bailey of Vicksburg; stepfather, James Bailey of Port Gibson; six sisters, Dora Jackson of Los Angeles, Daisy Johnson and Mary Johnson, both of Hermanville, Flora Tarleton of Port Gibson, Ernestine Jackson of Vicksburg, and Lisa Tarleton of St. Louis; four brothers, Jerry Jackson, Ronnie Bailey, James Jackson and Calvin Bailey, all of Vicksburg; one aunt; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be noon Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Mount Burner M.B. Church in Pattison with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating. Burial will be at White Hall Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation is today from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 11a.m. until the service.
