Sandra Jewell Welch

ROLLING FORK — Sandra Jewell Welch died at her home in Cary Sunday, June 29, 2014.  She was 64.

Born in Indianola, on Feb. 23, 1950, she lived in Cary for 23 years, where she worked for the Magnolia Grain Co. She was a member of the Rolling Fork Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burl Offie Yelverton.

Survivors include her son, Chris Welch of Rolling Fork; daughter, Shelly Craddock of Rolling Fork; mother, Billie Sue Jode Yelverton of Rolling Fork; two brothers, Jerry Yelverton of Grandberry, Texas, and Michael Yelverton of Glen Allan; and six grandchildren.

Services were 10 a.m. today, July 1, 2014, at Rolling Fork Church of Christ with the Rev. Norman Maranto officiating.  Burial followed at Mound Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eddie Hatcher, Tommy Aing, Carter Abney, George Sellers, Cody Sellers, Quinton Goss, and Robert Clay. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Cook, Bob Lee, William Frasier, Willie Bennett, Charles Weissinger Jr. and William Moore.
