Two Vicksburg men were being held at the Warren County Jail Saturday for drug court sanctions. Joseph Hall, 44, 2161 Pearl Street, and Albert McLaurin, 808 Main Street, were held without bond. 

 

Tennessee man killed

in East Carroll Parish wreck

A 44 year-old man was killed in a single-car wreck in East Carroll Parish Friday.

Troy Williams, of Cordova, Tenn., was traveling north on Louisiana 577 when his car went through a stop sign and into the intersection of Louisiana 877, crossing the road before striking an embankment, trooper Albert Paxton said.

Williams was transported to a hospital in Delhi, La., where he died of his injuries.

Williams was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and impairment is suspected to be a factor in the wreck, Paxton said. The crash remains under investigation.
