PORT GIBSON — Don L. Woods died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at River Region Medical. He was 60.

Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his father, Willie Bell.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Woods of Port Gibson; his mother, Mary Emma Woods of Port Gibson; three sisters, Dora Bell of Vicksburg, Mary Lee Woods and Shirley Woods, both of Port Gibson; two brothers, Tom Lee Woods and Bobby Ray Woods, both of Port Gibson; four aunts; and great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends including a special nephew, Alvin Ray Woods of Port Gibson; a special niece, Bridgette Walker of Vicksburg; and the Nash, Bell and Mays families.

Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2014, at New Come and See Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Eric Cooley officiating, assisted by the Rev. Eddie Walls, church pastor. Burial will be at Engleside Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Wednesday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
