Warren County golf championships
Clear Creek Golf Course will host the Warren County Junior Championship and the Warren County Championship this month.
The Junior Championship is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning at 9 a.m. each day. The entry fee is $15 and the tournament is open to all Warren County golfers ages 18 and under. There will be separate boys and girls divisions. Players 14 and up will play from the white tees, and the winner of that group will qualify for the Warren County Championship.
The Warren County Championship will be played July 26-27. The 36-hole tournament is open to all Warren County residents and the entry fee is $100. There will also be a shoot-out on July 25 for the top 12 players from the 2013 men’s Championship.

Clear Creek Ladies weekly golf report
On Wednesday, Clear Creek Ladies Golf Association members enjoyed a game of even-odd hole play. Carol Roberson took first place, followed by Martha Masterson in second and Mary May in third. Roberson recorded the lowest number of putts for the day.

Vicksburg, WC season ticket sales
Tickets for Vicksburg High and Warren Central football games will go on sale to past season ticket holders on Aug. 4, and to the general public on Aug. 18. Tickets are $7 per game, or $35 for the season.
Gator and Viking A-Club memberships will also go on sale on Aug. 4. A-Club membership cards are good for admission to all regularly scheduled sporting events within the Vicksburg Warren School District, with the exception of varsity football, Red Carpet Bowl events, and playoff games. A-Club memberships cost $100 for one person, or $175 for two people.

Southern Miss All-Star Party
The 31st annual Southern Miss Jackson All-Star Party will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Mississippi Trade Mart in Jackson. USM football coach Todd Monken, assistant coaches, football players, cheerleaders and mascot Seymour will be in attendance to meet the school’s alumni and fans.

Ole Miss Alumni hosts Rebel Reunion
The Central Mississippi Ole Miss Rebel Club will host the annual Rebel Reunion on Tuesday at the Jackson Convention Center. Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco, athletic director Ross Bjork, and assistant football coaches Dan Werner and Chris Kiffin will all be in attendance.
The social hour, silent auction and children’s activities begin at 5 p.m., and the main program at 6:30. Tickets are $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door. Admission is free to students and children. VIP seats are available for $30 through advance sale only.
