Mary Lou Wells-Amos of Vicksburg died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at her home. She was 80.

She was a self-taught seamstress and had retired from J.C. Penny. She was a member of the New  Rock of Ages M.B. Church and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 213 and an active member of the School until her  health failed her.
