ROLLING FORK — Susie L. Sanderford passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 71.

She was born Jan. 17, 1943, to Mabra Lowery and Willie Mae Williams Lowery, and lived most of her life in Holly Bluff, where she was employed with Delta Elastics for many years.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sanderford.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Dale Sanderford of Shreveport, La.; her daughter, Cecilia Seay of Holly Bluff; two brothers, Lance Lowery and Charlie Lowery, both of Holly Bluff; five sisters, Adrian Kirkland of Leland, Carolyn Parker of Greenville, and Carol Sue Pew, Betty Jean Kirkland, and Jennie Windham, all of Holly Bluff; five grandchildren, Shauwn Gilmore, Stephanie Gilmore, Terry Seay, Cara Sanderford, and Cate Sanderford; and great-grandchild, Wyatt Gilmore.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.
