A truck driver was found dead Tuesday inside his 18-wheeler at a Mississippi Department of Transportation weigh station in Bovina.

At 5:40 p.m., MDOT law enforcement, Warren County deputies and paramedics responded to a 911 call from MDOT officials from the scales on westbound Interstate 20 between Bovina and Vicksburg. When officers arrived, they found Tommy Murlin, 53, unresponsive in the sleeper cab of his truck, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Paramedics broke the windows of the 18-wheeler, which was parked on the backside of the scale house parking lot, but could not revive the man.
