A Warren County construction company owner was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center on Saturday after a dump truck hit a tree.
Fred Clark, 70, of U.S. 80, was behind the wheel of a 2002 Chevy dump truck in the 1200 block of Warriors Trail at 2:52 p.m. when a front tire blew out and the vehicle left the road, striking the tree, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
A resident of the area saw the wreck and helped Clark escape the cab by breaking a rear window, Pace said.
