On behalf of the Vicksburg Convention Center and VenuWorks of Vicksburg, I would like to extend a great big heartfelt thank you to the many organizations and individuals that supported the 2014 Ritz on the River! Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra entertained the crowded room with rat pack favorites. The Vicksburg Performing Arts Company put a Vicksburg flavor to the event that could not be found anywhere else! It was a fun and exciting evening that brought the community together to showcase our city and our unique venue. Praise should be given to the numerous sponsors, volunteers and attendees who made this event the success it became.
Ritz on the River major sponsors included Mutual Credit Union, C Spire, Lady Luck Casino, Mississippi Development Authority Tourism Division, and Ergon. Our table sponsors were BancorpSouth, Blackburn Motor Company, Diamond Jacks Casino, Guaranty Bank & Trust Company, Home Bank, IMS Engineers, MY Hospitality, RiverHills Bank, Riverwalk Casino, Robyn Lea/State Farm, Trustmark National Bank, Vicksburg Insurance Agency and additional support by the Outlets at Vicksburg.
Volunteers consisted of a number of youth and many others from the community that were willing to give of their time to assist in helping the event run smoothly. We would run out of space if I chose to mentioned everyone that was responsible for the putting it all together!
We would also like to thank our industry partners for helping Vicksburg make the meeting planner FAM that day (Puttin’ on the Ritz) an extreme success. Without them, it would not have been possible.
