Leadership conference coming to Crossway Church

A local church will serve as a live telecast center for an international conference featuring Tyler Perry, Louie Giglio and some of the most prominent evangelicals.
Crossway Baptist Church, 1825 U.S. 61 South, is one of thousands of churches to play host to the 2014 Global Leadership Summit telecast.
The conference, sponsored by the Willow Creek Association, will be Aug. 14-15 and registration remains open. The conference is held in Bloomington, Ill.
Founded in 1992, the Willow Creek Association began as a development firm for pastors, eventually expanding to include public conferences. The 2014 Summit will be the 20th the organization has hosted.
The event will also be streamed live and broadcast to more than 14,000 churches.

• Tyler Perry, the filmmaker, actor and philanthropist.
• Jeffrey Immelt, the president and CEO of GE.
• Susan Cain, an author and TED Conference presenter best known for her talk on “The Power of Introverts.”
• Wilfredo De Jesus, the senior pastor at New Life Covenant Church and one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2013.
• Patrick Lencioni, founder and president of The Table Group.
• Carly Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and the global board chair for Opporutnity International.
• Ivan Satyavrata, the senior pastor at the Assembly of God Church in Kolkata, India.
• Bryan Loritts, the founder and lead pastor at Fellowship Memphis.
• Joseph Grenny, the co-founder of VitalSmarts who is also a social scientist for business performance.
• Allen Catherine Kagina, the commissioner general of the Uganda Revenue Authority.
• Louie Giglio, the pastor of Passion City Church and founder of the Passion Movement.
• Erica Ariel Fox, the New York Times best-selling author and president of Mobius Executive Leaderhsip.
