Fire claims cars

Bovina, Culkin and Fisher Ferry volunteer firefighters battle to extinguish a structure fire at 222 Pebble Beach Drive Tuesday morning. The fire began after a truck delivering lumber backed into a garage, causing the homeowner, Michael Vincent, to fall off the roof, Warren County Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs said. The driver of the vehicle dragged Vincent to safety before Vincent was taken to River Region Medical Center where he was treated and released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
