PORT GIBSON — Debra J. Brown died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 43.

Ms. Brown is survived by four sons, Reginald Dorsey of Lorman, Abron Brown of Vicksburg, Kelvin Hill of Jackson, and Kenneth Townsend of Port Gibson; her father, Willie Claiborne of Port Gibson; mother, Carolyn Carter of Port Gibson; three sisters, Anglia Carter of Pearl, Janice Carter of Vicksburg, and Jennifer Carter of Port Gibson; two grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at New Christian Fellowship Church in Port Gibson, with Pastor Randy Burge officiating. Burial will be at Thompson Memorial Garden Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the family hour from 7 to 8 p.m., and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
