Emma Katherine Conrad, daughter of Justin Alan Conrad Sr. and Kathleen Barr Conrad, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at River Region Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Matthew Thomas and Jones Atlas Conrad III; and maternal grandparent, James Andrew Barr.

She is survived by her brother, Justin “Jay” Alan Conrad Jr.; paternal family members, grandmother, Pamela Lockard; aunt, Courtney Wilkinson (Johnathan) of Vicksburg; uncle, Gary James and Robyn Hinson; uncle, Charles Larry Conrad; and cousins, Will, Kyley and Jagger Ryals, and Gauge Wilkinson; surviving maternal family members include grandmother, Maureen Foster Barr; and uncle, Andrew Barr (Adelaide) of Baton Rouge, La.

The family would like to give special thanks to the kind, loving, and caring staff of the River Region labor and delivery unit, especially Pam, Kathy, Heidi, Kim, and Sheena; the Redwood United Methodist Church family; and their great friends, Kari and Michael Dupree.

A graveside service was 11 a.m. today, Aug. 7, 2014, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Troy Piccoluga officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are the nursing staff of the River Region labor and delivery unit.
