Donald L. “Mac” Comans

Donald L. “Mac” Comans died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Copiah County. He was 35.
Mac lived most of his life in Vicksburg where he was employed as and electrician and in the air conditioning business.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Marie Comans, of Smithdale; his son, Riley Comans, of Vicksburg; his father and stepmother, James G. Comans, Jr. and wife, Katina “Gidget”; his mother, Joan B. McQueen of Biloxi; five sisters, Jamee Comans of Memphis, Angela Comans of Hattiesburg, Nature Comans of Anchorage, Alaska, Brooke Comans and Nicole “Nickie” Warnock, both of Vicksburg; and three brothers, Tyler Gilbert Comans of Vicksburg, James Gilbert “Man” Comans III, of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Shannon Darryl Warnock of Texas; five nephews, Billy and Zachary Carter, Billy Cooper, Robi Riggin and Josh Williams; and seven nieces, Brittany Jona Carter, Bea Cooper, Cami Nosser, Cori and Suzi Heggins, Brookly Williams and Grace McAdams.
Mac had many cousins, family and friends that he loved dearly.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick McAlister officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jon Carter, Tyler Comans, Billy (BJ) Carter, Billy Cooper, Donnie Heggins, Mann Comans, Zachary Carter and Bobby Comans.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Comans, Edwin Stewart, Jason Stewart, Billy Wayne Comans, Bobby “Bubba” Comans, R.W. Comans and Tim Comans.
