Annie B. Chiles

Annie B. Chiles died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 68.  Mrs. Chiles was a 1965 graduate of Rosa A. Temple. She has worked in the Vicksburg Warren School District for more than 40 years and was very active in the community.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Chiles Sr.; a son Edwin Chiles Jr,; and siblings Jeff Warren, Eugene Evans and Rosie B Blackmore. Survivors include her sons Mark Chiles Sr. and Keith Chiles of Vicksburg; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.  Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church on Alcorn Drive with Dr. Leonard Walker officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
