Lucille K. Adams, 98, of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Heritage House.

Mrs. Adams was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved everyone and never left anyone without a smile on their face.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane Adams of Dallas and Joan E. Alexander (James Walter) of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Mitchell Alexander (Barbi), Michael Alexander (Brandy) and Anna Gillis (Chris), all of Vicksburg; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Crawford, Kaitlyn Alexander, Carly Alexander, Rebecca Alexander, Rachel Gillis, Andrew Gillis and Matthew Alexander; and great-great-grandchildren, Jayden Dale Vaughn and Marleigh Gwynn Crawford.

Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss E. Adams;
father, Thomas Jackson McCormick; mother, Rosetta Hackler McCormick;
sisters, Maybel R. Neal and Rosalie McCormick; and brother, Thomas Bernard McCormick.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with Dr. Chas Rowland officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Alexander, Michael Alexander, Chris Gillis, Andrew Gillis, Buddy Rowland and Jack Pace.
