An open-air movie is schedule for Saturday night in the Farmers Market lot at Grove and Washington Street.
The Westside Theatre Foundation and Vicksburg Main Street will be offering an outdoor screening of Rob Reiner’s “The Princess Bride,” said Daniel Boone, the movie programmer for the Strand Theatre.
The 1987 film features actor, Peter Falk and is the story of an old man, who is telling a bedtime story to his grandchildren, said Boone.
“The story starts out like a typical fairy tale, but takes some surprising twists along the way,” he said.
“The show will start at sundown — after 7:30 p.m., and the Westside Theatre will have popcorn, candy, hot dogs, water and soft drinks for sale,” said Boone.
Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs, blankets and coolers.
