Mr. and Mrs. Donald “Butch” Nasif of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Alexander, to Cooper Alan Osteen. Mr. Osteen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom “Bumpy” Osteen of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Miss Nasif is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Nasif and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Price, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Osteen is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Osteen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Osteen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Price, all of Fort Pierce.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She attended Mississippi State University, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She is a real estate agent at ReMax of Stuart.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of John Carroll High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi, where he was a second baseman for the Ole Miss baseball team. He is a real estate appraiser for Osteen Appraisers.

The couple plan to wed in a private ceremony at the bride’s parents home on October 31, 2014.
