LORMAN — Services for Ruth Patten Hall were held Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Lorman with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial was at McCaa Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Ms. Patten died Oct. 10, 2014, at her home. She was 82.

She was a resident of Lorman and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and a retired cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Patten; four brothers, Cornelius Patten, Roger Patten, Mike Anderson and Percy Alexander.

Survivors include a son, Ivery Patten of Lorman; six brothers, Nathan Winfield, Charles Patten, Eddie Patten and Carl T. Patten, all of Akron, Ohio, Ernest Patten and Aaron Patten Sr. both of Lorman; two sisters, Mary Louise Brown of Lorman and Erma Clark of Port Gibson; and other relatives and friends.
