Naturals Baseball, an 8-and-under coach pitch tournament team, won the Class AA Fall State Championship last weekend in Brandon. The Naturals went 4-1 in the tournament and beat the Northwest Rankin Crush 12-11 in the championship game. MSU drop-down pitching camp

Mississippi State will host its drop-down pitching camp Dec. 13 in Starkville. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is designed to provide intensive instruction on all aspects of drop-down pitching for players in high school and junior college. The instructors will be MSU pitching coach Butch Thompson and former major leaguers Chad Bradford and Scott Sullivan.

The cost of the one-day camp is $200. Players can sign up at hailstate.com/camps, and registration will begin at 8 a.m. the day of the camp.

Southern Miss baseball camps

Southern Miss will host its Fall Showcase baseball camp on Nov. 22 at Pete Taylor Park in Hattiesburg. The camp is designed to allow current high school and junior college players a chance to showcase their abilities and receive instruction from current Southern Miss coaches, junior college coaches, and other schools.

Registration starts at 11 a.m., and the camp at noon. The registration fee is $155 per camper.
