Demetris Darcel Young-Baafi, formerly of Vicksburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, in Accra Ghana at the Nyaho Medical Center. She was 51.

She was retired from the U. S.  Army as a second lieutenant, and was a 1990 graduate of Warren Central High School.
