The engagement of Alicia Diana Halterman, of Tallulah, to Joshua Eric Turner, of Vicksburg, is announced today.

Miss Halterman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ashley S. Halterman, Sr. of Tallulah. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Clyde and Mrs. Evelyn Halterman of Crowville, Louisiana and the late Mr. James and Mrs. Adeller Machen of Tallulah.

Mr. Turner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Turner, Jr. of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Turner, Sr. of Silver Creek, Mississippi and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lee of Cave City, Kentucky.

Vows will be exchanged November 15, 2014 at Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
