Mae Francis Eatmon Brown

 Mae Francis Eatmon Brown died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at her home. She was 66.

Mrs. Brown was born in Hinds County to the late Robert and Cleo “Honey” Eatmon.

She lived most of her life in Vicksburg, where she worked for more than 30 years downtown at Koury’s Children Shop.

She was preceded in death by one sister Jeanetta Eatmon Kelley; and five brothers, Jonathan, Louis, James Raymond, Walter Luster, and Edmond Carson.

Survivors include her loving husband, Roy Brown of Vicksburg; her stepson, Roy Calvin Brown of Vicksburg; three stepdaughters, Kimberly Brown-Lane (Deric) of Vicksburg, and Tiffany Brown and Tammy Brown, both of Southaven; four sisters, Maggie Dell Cook of Edwards, and Willena Huband and Zeanetta Eatmon, both of Vicksburg, and Mary Louise Eatmon of Fort Worth, Texas.

She also leaves her beloved Koury family, Frances Koury and the late Ellis Koury of Vicksburg; brother, Ellis Glenn Koury (Cyndi) of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Kate Knudsen of Sonoma, Calif., and Connie (David) Hosemann of Vicksburg.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Belmont M.B. Church in Utica with pastor Phillip Burks officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.

Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Friday with family visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
