Dale Ray Friley

Staff Sgt. Dale Ray Friley died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, in South Korea. He was 49.

He was a graduate of Warren Central High School, and retired in 2004 after serving 20 years in the U.S. Army. He served nine tours of Afghanistan in Iraq, and was employed as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Army at the time of his death.

He was preceeded in death his grandparents Joe and Jean Friley; Mack and Dersie McCandless; and Jack and Earline Simpson.

He is survived by his wife, Seajung Friley of South Korea; two children, James (Jessica) of Madison and Jena Marie Moulder (Dustin) of Vicksburg: a stepson, Je Hyung Jung (Sue Jin Kwack) of South Korea; two grandchildren; his parents, Raymond and Mary Friley of Vicksburg; one sister, Wendy Staggs (Kenny) of Vicksburg; two brothers, Raymond Friley Jr. of Pearl and B.J. Friley of Vicksburg; along with nieces and nephews.

Services were held in South Korea. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Clemts officiating.
