ROLLING FORK — Alleane Thomas died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at Promise Hospital. She was 97.

Survivors include her son, Hillary Thomas of Killeen, Texas; five daughters, Deborah Buckingham of Aberdeen, Irma Redd of Bellwood, Ill., Rose Hackett of Oak Park, Ill., and Arlene Shorter of Melrose Park, Ill.; 38 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; 64 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Christian Light MB Church in Anguilla. Burial will follow at Anguilla Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
