Gun missing in auto burglary

A gun was missing this morning following an overnight burglary on Henry Road.

A .22-caliber revolver was reported stolen this morning from a 2011 Ford F-150 in the 100 block of Henry Road, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Deputies were taking the report of the stolen gun at about 8:30 a.m., Pace said.

A burglar smashed a passenger window of the truck and stole the gun from the glove compartment, Pace said.

An unlocked Honda Accord also appeared to have been entered, but nothing was stolen from it, Pace said.
