With football season over, Vicksburg High took to the soccer pitch on Friday night and picked up a couple of wins.

Sean East had two goals and an assist, and Jarod Squire scored on a header in the second half to lead Vicksburg’s boys team to a 3-1 victory on the road against Brookhaven.

East’s first goal came off a set piece, and he drilled it into the upper right corner of the net from 25 yards out. He added his second goal off an assist from Lee Middleton in the second half to lock up the win as the Gators improved to 3-4. Brookhaven didn’t score its goal until the 78th minute.
