Arcement to head Corps levee safety branch

Brad Arcement has been named chief of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District’s Dam and Levee Safety Production Center of Engineering and Construction Division’s levee safety branch.
He previously served as lead geotechnical engineer for the Plaquemines Parish Project as the Mississippi Valley Division’s geotechnical regional technical specialist, and as chief of the analytical section of Engineering and Construction Division’s geotechnical branch.
A native of Baton Rouge, La., he is a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and a master’s in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is married to Roxanna Martinez and they are the parents of one son.
