(B) Hattiesburg 60, Warren Central 44
Mario Doyle led Warren Central with 17 points but it would not be enough to pull out a win over Hattiesburg Saturday. The Vikings (3-4) could not stop Dandy Dozen guard Tristan Walley in the 16-point loss. Larry Ferguson had 7 points and Shaunterrance Walton 6 for Warren Central, which comes home to face Crystal Springs Monday.
(G) St. Al 53, Greenville-St. Joe 26
Avery Parman scored a team-high 11 points, Grace Upshaw had 10, and St. Aloysius (2-0) remained unbeaten with a win over Catholic school rival Greenville-St. Joseph. Alyssa Engel added nine points for the Lady Flashes, and Claire Gamble had seven points and seven rebounds. St. Al built an 11-point lead by halftime, then put the game on ice by outscoring St. Joe 25-12 in the second half.
