Taylor Cline Williams died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014. He was 70 years old.
Born to Edgar Herman Williams, Jr. and Georgia Laudee Baker Williams on February 5, 1944, he was a native and life-long resident of Hermanville. He worked for the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department as Chief Deputy for 25 years. He was a cattleman, horseman, and cowboy all his life. He was a member of Hermanville Baptist Church and attended Goodrum Baptist Church in Vicksburg.
Along with his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Nancy Virginia Cantrelle and brother, Charles Joseph Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Angeline Baker Williams of Yokona; two sons, Patrick Livingston of Monroe and T.C. Livingston of Hallsville, Texas; four daughters, Kathy Burns of Covington, La., Amber Williams, Dana Clai Williams, and Janet Lynn Williams, all of Yokena; two brothers, Herman Williams, Jr. of Leon, Iowa, and Robert Douglas Williams of Hermanville; four sisters, Ora Augusta Pickett of Vicksburg, Lenora Jane Townsend of Centreville, Mary Alice Higbee of Madison, and Deborah Lynn Davis of Lorman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 08, 2014, at the First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson with the Revs. Michael Herrin and Brian Kelly officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 at the funeral home and 9 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Clint Pickett, Isaac Pickett, Zan Pickett, Mike McCann, Jared McCann, Doug Williams, Mott Roland Headley, Jason Greer, and Bubba Daigre. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Williams, Patrick Livingston, T.C. Livingston, Mott Headley Jr., Mike Greer, and Darrell Spivey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hermanville Cemetery in care of Janet Salley at 1178 Abby Road, Hermanville, MS 39086.
