Funeral services for Susie M. Harris-Myers will be noon Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at Faith Christian Center with the Rev. Dr. Ollie Hardaway officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
Ms. Harris-Myers died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at Covenant Health & Rehab Center following a lengthy illness. She was 76.
She had worked at Walnut Hills Restaurant and was an active member of Faith Christian Center until her illness prevented her attendance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie W. and Katie M. Sanders-Harris; her brothers, George Harris and Willie W. Harris Jr.; and her sister, Catherine Harris Ransome.
She is survived by two brothers, Frances C. Harris, of Germany, and Richard L. Harris, of Vicksburg; two sisters, Annie Lee Harris-Prince and Shirley M. Harris-Porter, both of Vicksburg; her aunt, Jimmie Mae Jones, of Augusta, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and others, including Clara Jones, of Vicksburg.
