Scott A. Murrain died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at his home. He was 60.
Mr. Murrain was born in California and lived in Washington until he joined the U.S. Navy. He was a boat captain for about 30 years, and was recently employed with Patrick Smith at Yazoo River Towing.
He is survived by his life companion, Emily Rose Pedroche.
Mississippi Mortuary Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at Warrenton Baptist Church with Brother Marvin Curtis officiating.
