Funeral services for Scott J. Russum Jr. are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, in the Chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Casey Fisher officiating.
Burial shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation hour from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, in the chapel.
Scott J. Russum Jr. died Thursday Dec. 18, 2014, in the Covenant Health and Rehab Center of Vicksburg following a brief illness. He was 49. He was a former employee of Ameristar Casino and was of the Episcopal faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scott J. Russum Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Minevea Cooper Russum; a son, Scott Elzie; and a daughter, Ashley Jones; a brother, Johnny Loving; two sisters, Linda Washington, all of Vicksburg, and Barbara Williams, of Jackson; three grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
