Bettie Jean Dillard died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Mrs. Dillard was born Jan. 12, 1942 in Hollingdale to the late Marquerite Bingham. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother; daughter, Betty Watkins; and son, Tommie Dillard.

Survivors include her five daughters: Mary Bingham, Ruby Bingham, Brenda Bingham, Dorothy M. McKenzie, all of Edwards, and Carolyn Dillard of Vicksburg; her two sons, M.C. Dillard of Bovina and Willie J. Bingham of Edwards; two sisters, Effie Bingham and Helen Fultz both of Edwards; one brother, Aljosie Moriley of Edwards; 33 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Edwards under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
