Vivian Keyes Watson

MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. — Vivian Keyes Watson passed away peacefully in Melbourne Beach Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 surrounded by family.

Vivian was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Waterproof, La., and lived in Vicksburg for most of her life. On Nov. 9, 1942, she married Lyman Thurston Watson.

Vivian was a homemaker until her children were grown, then owned Watson Realty for several years. She had many interests, but her greatest love was her family.

Survivors include her husband, Lyman Watson; daughters, Sandy Watson Foote (Ken) of Melbourne Beach, Judi Watson Hughes (Dalton) of Abilene, Texas, and Debbi Watson Craig (Gordon) of Melbourne Beach; grandchildren, Lauren Craig Reda (Gary); Bryce Craig;  Kelly Hughes Minyard “CJ” and David Hughes; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Tina Keyes and William Frank Keyes; sister, Tina Mae Hull; brother, William Frank Keyes, Jr.; and granddaughter, Stephanie Hughes.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Fla.
