Patricia “Patsy” Halford

Patricia “Patsy” Halford died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at her home. She was 80.
Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late William Charles Hunt Sr. and Bird Elise Birdsong Hunt.
Mrs. Halford was a graduate of Carr Central High School and attended Belhaven College. She was employed at First Presbyterian Church over 40 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she received the Life Membership from the First Presbyterian Church Women of the Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Halford Sr.; sons, Kenneth Halford Jr. and Michael Halford Sr; grandchildren, Erin Halford, Amy Halford, Haley Halford, Elise Halford Sellers and Hunt Halford Jr; brother, W. C. “Billy” Hunt, Jr.; and several cousins and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be George Cronia, Bill Fenwick, Gene Stirgus, John Brooks, Jessie Oldham, Dale McClung, Bob Cunny and Marvin Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Moody Culpepper, Larry Lambiotte, Dr. Lee Giffin, Al Sellers, Tommy Miller, the First Presbyterian Church Board of Deacons and members of the Faith and Practice Sunday School Class.
