Jacqueline “Jackie” Fillebaum

Jacqueline “Jackie” Fillebaum died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, peacefully at her home in Bovina. She was 92. 

She was born Oct. 15, 1922, to Arthur and Catherine Ward of Hallow near Worcester, England.  She married an American soldier during World War II, the late Jack Fillebaum.

Jackie was a devoted mother raising three children and active in school PTAs. She was an active member of Bovina United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer for over 40 years.  She and Jack were members of the Paddlewheelers Square Dance Club.

She is survived by two sons, Roger Fillebaum (Patsy) of Vicksburg and John Fillebaum (Judith) of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Catherine Walters (Mark) of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren; Kevin Fillebaum (Elizabeth), Brian (Cristy) Fillebaum of Vicksburg, Kurt (Elizabeth) Fillebaum, Eric Fillebaum (Courtney) of Birmingham, Ala., Evan Walters, Abigail Walters and Cade Walters; seven great-grandchildren; Kylen Fillebaum, Holden Fillebaum, William Fillebaum,  Lindsey Langford, Danny Fillebaum, Mary Halterman , Allison James; two sisters, Glennis Noke (Stanley), and Dorothy Griffiths (Ken); two brothers, Norman Ward and Colin Ward  of England.

Funeral services will be at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. John Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons.
