John Robert Greer of Vicksburg, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at River Region Medical Center. He was 65.

Mr. Greer worked in construction and had been employed by Ergon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie and John Hobson Greer.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Greer of Vicksburg; sons, Kevin Greer of Longview, Texas, Eric Greer of Rockport, Texas, and Robert Icumi of Garland, Texas; daughter, Sarah Serhea of Los Angeles; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
