HERMANVILLE — Lorene Drayton Maddox-McNeal died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 at her home in Port Gibson. She was 85.

A housewife, Ms. Maddox-McNeal was a member of St. Elmo Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Minniefield and Corrine Drayton.

Survivors include seven sons, Willie Clyde Maddox, Larry Maddox, Odell Maddox, Michael Maddox, all of Houston, Texas, Donald Maddox, of Dallas, Ronnie Maddox, Jerry Maddox, both of Hermanville; six daughters, Suzette Becvar, of Houston, Lesate McGee, Lenora Williams, Cassandra Little, all of Port Gibson, Joyce Maddox, of Dallas, and Gloria Edwards, of Hermanville; two brothers, Larry Minniefield, of Ruston, La., and Terry Minniefield, of Louisiana; two sisters, Mary Lee Wilkens, Gloria Bell Jenkins, both of Hermanville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services are 1 p.m. at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frank Curtis officiating. Rollins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Hermanville Cemetery. Visitation is 1to 7 p.m. at the funeral home’s chapel.
