Donna Harris, 82, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram.

Mrs. Harris was born in Magnolia to the late James Dwight Carter and Jessie Mae Rogers Carter. She worked as a radiological technician having received numerous radiological awards. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Duke” Harris.

Survivors include her daughter, Minda Lisa Hogan of Vicksburg; grandchild, John Ryan Hogan of Vicksburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and her beloved dog, Phoebe Louise.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Animal Rescue League.
